Role: Metrology Engineer
Location: Maumelle, AR
Duration: Long-term Contract (W2)
Job Description:
- Perform first article inspections per customer specifications and maintain proper documentation.
- Measure and analyze parts, reporting findings to engineering for validation activities or as needed.
- Determine appropriate measurement methods and create detailed measurement work instructions.
- Verify tool modifications by assessing changes in process dimensions.
- Conduct capability studies, gauge repeatability, and reproducibility analysis.
- Provide statistical reports on process control, process capability, and gauge repeatability.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles effectively.
- Manage scheduling and prioritize tasks based on site project needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Metrology.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Hands-on experience with CMM programming, operation, and troubleshooting (Zeiss) and Vision Systems (Keyence, OGP).
- Proficiency in using mechanical inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, and profilometers.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and GD&T.
