Job Title : Packaging Engineer
Location : McPherson, KS
Duration : 6-12 months
Job Description :
Minimum of three (3) years of packaging engineering related activities in the aseptic fill / finish pharmaceutical (GMP) manufacturing industries. Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field from an accredited curriculum. Holds at least one industry certification or certificate such as : CPP, CP, PEC. Analyzing the needs of the product and the user to determine packaging requirements. Designing packaging materials that meet those needs, factoring in such as product safety, cost efficiency, and environmental impact. Testing packaging to ensure it can withstand various conditions, such as temperature changes, transportation, and storage. Collaborating with suppliers to source the materials needed for packaging designs. Developing prototypes and conducting tests to assess the functionality. Identifying areas for improvement in packaging solutions. Ensuring compliance with drug regulatory bodies and environmental compliance regulations. Support packaging equipment installation, start-up, debugging, commissioning, qualification, troubleshooting and maintenance efforts.
