The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineering teams to create and optimize circuit designs and board layouts for manufacturing and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design intricate printed circuit board layouts.
- Collaborate with electronic and embedded engineers to create circuit designs and board layouts that meet platform deliverables throughout the product development phases.
- Create schematics, optimize designs for manufacturing and testing, and ensure designs meet industry standards.
- Identify risks, mitigations, and contingency plans for new features.
- Work closely with tool owners and other technical support groups in cross-functional teams.
- Utilize Altium software for PCB/PCBA design, incorporating input from mechanical and electrical teams.
- Understand and implement impedance control requirements for electrical and RF circuits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in PCB design and hardware development.
- Proficiency in using Altium software for PCB/PCBA design.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers.
- Strong understanding of impedance control requirements for electrical and RF circuits.
- Expertise in designing complex electronic circuits and PCBs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate design risks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
