Job Title: Principal Software Quality Engineer

Job Description:

This role involves performing advanced software quality activities, including development, testing, debugging, and maintaining software and tools. Responsibilities include:

• Software Development and Testing:
• Analyze requirements, update design specifications, and maintain software source code, scripts, and procedures.
• Develop, execute, and update test designs, cases, and procedures.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues while providing strategic solutions for future development.
• Requirement Management:
• Gather, analyze, and validate requirements.
• Write, update, and maintain design specifications and hazard/risk analysis.
• Project Leadership:
• Lead or contribute to design reviews and provide feedback.
• Support testing phases and reviews of project deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and other standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in software engineering disciplines, including visual modeling, GUI design, multi-threading, and relational databases.
• Proficiency in formal software development methodologies and automated testing.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment and travel up to 10%, including internationally.
