Job Description:
- Design and route high-speed PCBs while adhering to industry standards and requirements for medical devices.
- Create and manage power planes, ensuring proper creepage, clearance, and length matching.
- Route high-speed interfaces such as SATA, DDR4/DDR5, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, and PMIC.
- Utilize Siemens Xpedition Layout and DxDesigner VX2.8 for PCB design.
- Work with PCB eCAD Libraries using EDM Library for efficient design management.
- Manage constraints effectively using the Constraints Editor System.
- Ensure designs comply with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) guidelines.
- Perform Valor Analysis to identify and resolve potential design issues before production.
- Handle multiple product configurations using the Variant Manager.
- Create comprehensive design documentation using the Drawing Editor.
- Implement Fablink (Panelization) for effective manufacturing preparation.
- EDM Library, Constraints Editor System, Fablink, Variant Manager, Drawing Editor
- Strong knowledge of DFM/DFA processes and Valor Analysis.
- Expertise in routing high-speed PCB designs, including high-speed interfaces like SATA, DDR4/DDR5, USB, Ethernet, and PCIe.
- Familiarity with medical system and device design, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Excellent understanding of power planes, cree pages, clearance requirements, and length matching.
- Experience in working with panelization processes for PCB fabrication.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience with high-speed PCB design, particularly in the medical devices domain.
- Strong understanding of PCB design principles and manufacturing constraints.
