At Intellectt Inc, we are seeking a skilled Metrology Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metrology and measurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform first article inspection per customer specifications and maintain accurate records
- Measure parts and report any findings to engineering for submission to the customer
- Identify the appropriate measurement method and create measurement work instructions
- Verify tool changes and process dimensions after tool modifications
- Conduct capabilities studies, gauge repeatability and reproducibility analysis
- Provide statistical reports reflecting process control, process capability, and gauge repeatability
- Maintain strong understanding and utilization of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Requirements:
- Experience in metrology
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Programming, operating, and troubleshooting Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) experience
- Mechanical Inspection equipment experience
- Applying Statistical Process Control (SPC), Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and Measurement system analysis (MSA)
