Position: Quality Control Inspector
Location: Portland, OR 97224
Employment Type: Contract (8 Months)
What You'll Do:
• Perform visual inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished materials using optical microscope and unaided eye.
• Use automated/manual equipment and measurement tools (rulers, calipers) for dimensional inspections.
• Record and organize inspection data accurately with paper-based documentation.
• Identify and disposition non-conforming parts based on inspection criteria.
• Operate production and testing equipment, including small hand tools and precision instruments.
What We're Looking For:
• Strong ability to visually inspect at a distance of 12–18 inches (corrected vision acceptable).
• Comfort working under a microscope for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, adhering to gowning requirements.
• Dependable with the ability to work overtime and up to 60 hours per week.
