Job Description :

• Reads original copy or proof to detect and mark any grammatical, typographical or compositional error.
• May also check dimensions, spacing and position for accuracy.
• Has knowledge of proofreading symbols.
• Requires minimal supervision.

• This position is Non-Exempt.
• Reviews, proofreads, and approves labelling components and change control documentation (e.g., Labels, Instructions for Use, Patient Guides).
• Responsible for proofreading labelling at various stages.
• Reads original copy or proof to detect and mark any grammatical, typographical, or compositional error.
• May also check foreign translations, dimensions, spacing and position for accuracy.
• Has knowledge of proofreading symbols.
• Effectively communicates labelling changes with various functional groups.
• Coordinates labelling assignments with other Proof-readers.
• Must be able to rearrange priorities on short notice to react to customer needs.
• Knowledge of labelling regulations and standards preferred.
• Previous experience working within a change control system is helpful.
• Requires minimal supervision
