Position: R&D Product Development Manager
Location: North Chicago, IL
Duration: 2-year assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of drug delivery system development projects
- Lead collaboration across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, Human Factors, and external partners
- Oversee device budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning
- Manage external device partners and project governance
- Communicate project updates to leadership and ensure effective team meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or related technical field (PMP preferred)
- 8 years of experience in combination products or medical devices
- Strong background in product development, design controls, human factors, and usability testing
- Experienced leading cross-functional technical teams
- Skilled in project planning, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical/device development cycles and design history files
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
