Location : Michigan (Onsite)
Job Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Sr. CAD Engineer specializing in Interior Door Trim design. Developing CAD models in CATIA V6, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Proactive, and skilled in injection molding, wrapping, and interior component design.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and manage CAD models and A-surface designs in CATIA V6
- Develop and design interior door trim components
- Ensure designs meet craftsmanship, cost, and safety standards
- Work with design, engineering, manufacturing, and validation teams
- Maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure homologation requirements are met for crash safety
