Role : Sr Hardware Engineer

Location : Phoenix, AZ, USA, 85027

Shift : Flexible Day shift, 8 hours

Possible OT

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

Plan and execute Environmental and EMI Qualification tests on Avionics products
Plan and execute Design Verification testing on Avionics products
Prepare test reports for regulatory compliance
Assist in product certification for customer & regulatory (e.g., FAA) acceptance
Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment
Lead obsolete-component replacement investigations

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

4 years’ experience in Hardware / Product Engineering

Experience in Environmental and / or EMI testing for avionics product qualification

We Value

Experience with Product Safety principals for Airborne Electronic Hardware

Familiarity with Product Qualification guidance standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, etc.)

Basic knowledge of electronic display principles (e.g., LCD)

Experience with complex digital circuit design and debugging

Experience with serial data communication standards (ARINC 429, RS232, I2C)

Basic knowledge of hardware engineering standards and specifications

Experience with optical testing / evaluation instrumentation for electronic display characterization

Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize design of products, parts, systems or processes

Clear and concise communications
