Job Overview:
Lead and manage medium to large-scale projects for Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives supporting Abbott's AN Division, affiliates, and manufacturing sites globally. Ensure projects align with regulatory requirements and business goals, driving improvements in quality systems and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple cross-functional projects within the Quality Intelligence Program Office (QIPMO)
- Define project scope, develop, and manage project plans
- Monitor timelines, follow up on tasks, and address resource constraints
- Identify and manage project risks and communicate updates to leadership
- Ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate business risks
- Support QA functions for commercial, manufacturing, and compliance initiatives
- Recommend and implement process improvements
- Develop KPIs to track project success
- Coordinate Quality Intelligence operations and updates
Required Skills:
- 5-8 years in regulated nutritional or medical food manufacturing, preferably pediatric or medical nutrition
- 3 years of project or program management experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of quality systems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Cross-functional and international project experience
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of nutritional, food cGxP, and regulatory requirements
- Pharma knowledge is a plus
- Technical expertise in quality systems and manufacturing controls
- Strong decision-making abilities
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Food Chemistry, Microbiology, or Regulatory (Master’s preferred)
