Skills Looking For :
- Senior Scientist is responsible for performing liquid chromatography / mass spectrometry (LC / MS) and or gas chromatography mass spectrometry GC / MS in the lab.
- 60% time in lab and 30% time in preparing data.
- Responsible for performing E&L method development and analysis (LCMS, GC / MS, ICP / MS).
- Sample preparation techniques (SPE, liquid extractions, concentration, etc).
- Experience doing method validation with GPC, HPLC or LC / MS development or have executed validations in the past.
- Experience performing LC / MS or GC / MS separations and identification of unknowns and target compounds in the areas of extractables / leachable, materials, and polymer characterization.
- ISO 10993 part 18 and part 12 background.
- Experience with Minitab, Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Experience with software platforms such as Tracefinder, Excalibur and Compound.
