Role: Multibody Simulation (ADAMS) Engineer
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Multibody Simulation (ADAMS) Engineer with expertise in Vehicle Dynamics and Virtual Road Load Data Analysis (VRLDA). The ideal candidate will develop high-fidelity vehicle simulation models, perform ride and handling analysis, and collaborate with design teams to improve vehicle performance using MSC ADAMS/Car.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop system-level mechanism simulation models for vehicle dynamics.
- Create high-fidelity full vehicle models using MSC ADAMS/Car.
- Conduct ride and handling analysis and interpret results.
- Perform static load generation analysis in ADAMS/Car and ADAMS/View environments.
- Develop macros for automated output generation to ensure fast and error-free simulations.
- Correlate simulation results with real-world vehicle or subsystem measurements.
- Work closely with design teams to enhance vehicle performance.
- Utilize MATLAB and Python for ADAMS/Car simulations (preferred).
- Apply DOE & optimization techniques to improve model accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
✔ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s in Mechanical Engineering preferred).
✔ Strong expertise in Multibody Dynamics (MBD) and MSC ADAMS/Car.
✔ Experience in Virtual Road Load Data Analysis (VRLDA).
✔ Proficiency in ADAMS/View, MATLAB, and Python (preferred).
✔ Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) & optimization.
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
✔ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
