Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of real-time testing experience, with a strong background in software quality assurance, particularly focusing on Java Spring Boot applications and microservice architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated tests for Java Spring Boot applications and microservices.
  • Implement and maintain automated test scripts for API testing and UI testing using the Karate BDD framework.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as part of the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Write clear and concise test cases and test documentation.
  • Utilize scripting and object-oriented programming skills in Java to enhance test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of testing environments.
  • Ensure quality assurance processes align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Use Azure DevOps and JIRA for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Employ Jenkins and GitHub actions for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5-6 years of professional experience in software QA and test automation.
  • Proven expertise in testing Java applications, particularly using Spring Boot and microservices
