Role: Training Support Specialist
Location: Scarborough, Maine
Duration: 6 Months on W2
Shift Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM (EST)
- 100% Onsite role.
- Local candidates only.
Skills Looking For:
- Strong data entry skills
- Proficiency in Excel, including reporting
- Experience with Agile, Oracle, or similar systems
- Ability to work with multiple electronic systems
- Compliance experience (preferably in a regulated environment)
- Technical writing skills (preferred but not mandatory)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Details of the Project/Product they will be dealing with:
- The role is focused on compliance training, ensuring that standards and processes are met.
- Responsibilities include handling change orders, reviewing job descriptions and training plans, and assigning training within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- The role involves working with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Metro (also known as Cornerstone).
Any Specific Software Requirements:
- Agile or Oracle (preferred)
- Metro LMS (or other LMS experience, as it is trainable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
Industry or Background Preferences:
- Candidates from a compliance, quality assurance (QA), or quality control (QC) background are preferred.
- Experience in regulated environments such as medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing would be nice.
- A background in auditing, compliance, or technical writing.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Initiating and managing change orders
- Reviewing and updating job descriptions and training plans
- Assigning training within the LMS system
- Extracting, assessing, and reporting data for gaps in compliance
- Collaborating with leadership teams to ensure compliance standards are met
- Engaging in document editing and corrections
- Managing data in QMS and LMS systems
Education and Level of Experience:
- High school diploma with 5-6 years of experience OR Associate’s degree with relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree is not required
