Role: Automation Engineer
Location: Rocky Mount, NC
Duration: Long Term
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and support projects, ensuring efficient time management and execution.
· Maintain automation systems, develop SOPs, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
· Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process optimizations.
· Manage change control and participate in cybersecurity initiatives.
· Provide 24/7 automation system support and oversee capital/non-capital projects.
· Mentor junior staff and communicate progress effectively.
Must-Have:
· High School Diploma 8 years’ experience, OR Associate’s 6 years, OR Bachelor’s 3 years, OR Master’s 1 year.
· Experience in software test plans, automation compliance, and process control systems (Rockwell, Wonderware, iFIX, OSI PI, Siemens).
· Strong teamwork, communication, and compliance knowledge.
Nice-to-Have:
· Pharmaceutical experience, VMware, networking, SQL/AVEVA PI, and batch processing knowledge.
