The Director of Continuous Quality Improvement is responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining continuous improvement and learning processes for the life of the GHSC project. This position will be responsible for improving and maintaining compliant business processes, strategies, and tools to deliver productivity and efficiency through supply chain systems. Leads efforts focused on business process optimization and incorporates best practices in routine activities. The Director of Continuous Quality Improvement will work with project leadership to translate learning and best practices into quality improvement measures that optimize the supply chain while ensuring compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Improve and maintain business processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and sustainability through supply chain systems.
- Develop programs and tools to monitor and drive continuous improvement and learning.
- Lead the implementation of the continuous quality improvement strategy.
- Build and sustain strong partnering relationships across the GHSC landscape, including key quality leadership organizations.
- Develop, uphold, and periodically enhance quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure all standard operating procedures reflect the most current, internationally accepted practices, and ensure responsiveness to new health commodities as they become available.
- Review and ensure compliance with evolving innovations in the global supply chain ecosystem.
- Coach and train GHSC personnel to develop leadership and technical competence and effectively utilize system tools.
- Manage product recalls and work to mitigate any quality assurance issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure recalled products are properly returned or dispensed.
- Identify and solve gaps in every link of the medical commodity supply chain, including transportation, procurement, commodity management, purchasing, inventory, and forecasting supply and demand.
- Anticipate future needs of the business through trends and insights.
- Manage analytics strategy, roadmap, and team resources.
