How You Will Achieve More With Intellia:
As an Associate Scientist, you will join our analytical development team within the Technical Operations group and embrace the opportunity to transform incredible sciences and technologies into powerful cures. In addition, you will be evaluating, implementing, and developing analytical methods to support internal and external manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of new methods and executing analytical methods to support ongoing Oligonucleotide needs using instruments including but not limited to Ion Pair RP-HPLC, IEX-HPLC, and Mass Spectrometry.
- Participate in support of analytical activities at CMOs and CTOs related to analytics, including GMP method qualification and validation, troubleshooting, optimization, review, and reporting
About You:
Are you interested in the characterization of oligonucleotides? Do you enjoy troubleshooting experiments with unexpected results? Are you interested in developing and writing analytical methods that can withstand a GMP setting? If you say yes, we encourage you to apply! Other qualifications and desired skills include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or related area with 8 years of hands-on industrial experience, or master’s degree with a minimum of four years of research experienceProficient in HPLC techniques, including method development and troubleshooting experience is a must. Prior experience with LC/MS is a plus.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and demonstrated independent thinker who continuously seeks innovative solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, and strong problem-solving skills
