- Strong Performance tuning & code optimization experience (Must have)
- Experience enabling performance tests as part of the CI pipeline (Must have)
- Experience with tools like JMeter & K6 (Must)
- Mock framework development experience (Jmock Mockito etc)
- Experience with building performance dashboards (Dynatrace Splunk Prometheus Grafana etc.) (Must have)
- Kafka experience
- Code Optimization – Identifying inefficient code (e.g., redundant loops, unnecessary DB calls).
- Query Optimization – Tuning SQL and NoSQL queries for better performance.
- Caching Strategies – Using Redis, Memcached, or in-memory caching to reduce DB calls.
- Concurrency & Parallelism – Efficient multi-threading and asynchronous processing.
- Cloud Performance Optimization – Tuning AWS/GCP/Azure resources (autoscaling, instance types).
- Kubernetes/OpenShift Performance – Pod scaling, resource requests/limits, and node performance.
- Database Performance Tuning – Indexing, sharding, partitioning strategies.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) – Systematic troubleshooting of performance
