Key Responsibilities
- Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software
- Generate and maintain documentation for the full software stack
- Provide sustainment support by updating software as needed
- Conduct basic Linux system administration and develop shell scripts
- Execute test codes to characterize software performance
- Develop tools and services to improve software deployment efficiency in production environments
- Troubleshoot and support large Linux clusters and containerized environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency
- Required Skills:
- Proficiency with Linux CLI and basic system administration
- Experience with Bash and Python scripting
- Strong understanding of compute, network, memory, and storage system components
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, and Ansible
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes administration and monitoring
- Proficiency with system monitoring tools like Prometheus/Grafana
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaboration tools such as Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
- Desired Skills:
- Experience deploying Kubernetes applications using Helm
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and their application
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and six (6) years of demonstrable experience with COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment
- OR five (5) years of full-time Computer Science-related work and six (6) years of demonstrable experience
- Clearance:TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Citizenship:Must be a U.S. Citizen
