About the Role:
As an Experienced Software Engineer at Intelliforce, you will be integral to the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex software systems. You’ll work alongside a diverse, highly skilled team, ensuring the seamless operation of IT infrastructure by leveraging your expertise in Linux, Red Hat, and container technologies. You'll contribute independently, owning key initiatives, troubleshooting, and driving the success of system integrations. Your work will directly support our customers’ objectives while advancing Intelliforce’s mission to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain software systems based on Red Hat, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Utilize container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Rancher for efficient application deployment and management.
• Automate system tasks with tools like Puppet to ensure consistency and scalability across environments.
• Troubleshoot system issues, monitor performance, and proactively implement solutions to maintain high availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system integrations and seamless technology solutions.
• Independently contribute to project planning, execution, and ongoing system enhancements.

Key Technologies & Skills:

• Strong experience with Red Hat, Linux, and Unix systems.
• Expertise in Puppet for automation and configuration management.
• Hands-on experience with Rancher and Kubernetes for containerized application management.
• Deep knowledge of system administration, network protocols, and performance tuning.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently, ensuring high-quality results.
• Familiarity with cloud-based systems, virtualization technologies, and container orchestration tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• 14 years of experience in software engineering or systems engineering with a technical bachelor’s degree; or 19 years of experience without a degree.
• Proven track record in the design, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale systems.
• Strong understanding of modern system architectures, automation tools, and containerized environments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving technical challenges.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
