Job Description:
Are you an experienced Hilo Driver looking to join a dynamic team? We are seeking a dedicated individual to handle materials in a safe and orderly manner, assist with timely product fulfillment and delivery, collaborate with team members to achieve set goals, and operate a forklift efficiently. As a Hilo Driver on the 1st shift, your role is essential to our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Hilo Operation: Safely operate a Hilo (forklift) following appropriate training and guidelines to handle materials effectively.
Material Handling: Ensure materials are handled in a safe and orderly manner, preventing damage and maintaining an organized workspace.
Fulfillment and Delivery: Assist in the timely fulfillment and delivery of products to meet customer demands, contributing to our reputation for reliability.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet set goals, maintain a positive work environment, and support each other in daily tasks.
Loading and Unloading: Use the Hilo to load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trucks. Collect empty pallet boards and transport them to designated storage areas.
Order Picking: Utilize the required technology to pick appropriate cases according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Inventory Support: Assist in conducting weekly product inventory checks, maintaining accurate records, and reporting any discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Valid Hilo driver certification or equivalent training and experience.
Proficiency in safe forklift operation and material handling practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
Willingness to strictly follow safety protocols and guidelines.
