What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scene Generation/Software Engineer position at Intelligent Automation, a BlueHalo Company?
Job Details
Description
BlueHalo is seeking a Jr., Mid. or Sr. level Engineer/Scientist with experience performing real-time simulation and scene image generation programming to work in real-time hardware-in-the-loop missile and sensor simulation and test laboratories.
The person filling the position will work with a diverse team of HW, SW, and operational testers to develop software that will be used to stimulate EO/IR sensor systems, to include planning, executing, and analyzing real-time test results from test events and experiments involving newly developed/evolving sensor systems, and external / lab interfaces in a virtual test environment.
This position prefers a Jr. to Sr. level engineer/scientist with experience performing real-time simulation and scene image generation programming to work in real-time hardware-in-the-loop missile and sensor simulation and test laboratories.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be proficient in programming in the C/C language for time-critical real-time simulation applications and should have some experience in the following areas:
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Security Clearance: Applicants must currently hold (or be able to obtain within reasonable time) a DoD security clearance at the Secret level.
Work Environment: The HWIL work is performed primarily in an office or lab environment with adequate environmental (heating/cooling) control. The noise level in the lab work environment will be moderate due to noises associated with computer equipment, equipment racks, and environmental control systems.
