What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Level 2 position at Intelligent Foods?
A level 2 Inventory Associate is the first point of contact when other departments need assistance and are responsible for the accurate and efficient data entry of all transactions in the Navision ERP system (NAV) for an assigned area or department. Including but not limited to movements of materials, both physically and systematically, staging, and supplying materials for production teams, and transactional accuracy of consumption and outputs of materials. All Intelligent Foods employees are also required to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food handling procedures, quality control, and all safety procedures and policies in our distribution centers.
- At least 1 year experience in warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English.
- Experience with inventory management systems (i.e. NAV) preferred.
- Intermediate math and computer skills required.
- Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and maintain record-keeping.
- Ability to adapt to changes in priority and deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a variety of shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Must be forklift certified.
- Ability to work independently and or in a group setting, with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (-9 - 42 Fahrenheit) for 8 or more hours and in some instances, in a dark environment
