We need someone who enjoys designing IT solutions and applying creativity to solving business problems. It is also important to be able to provide technical support to clients as well as be willing to train your team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Prefer someone with leadership abilities who can grow into a leadership position
  • Perform server, network and cloud migrations
  • Manage server, network and cloud environments
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications
  • Help define and refine security stack and security tool, policies, procedures and framework
  • Set up and maintain computer networks, including LAN and VPN connections
  • Provide technical support to stakeholders for software, and network-related issues
  • Secure desktop, network and server environments
  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT support activities
  • Assist in the procurement and setup of new IT equipment

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in hands on IT support
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT solutions design, engineering and implementation
  • Strong knowledge and experience with IT security – Cyber security
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Proficiency in Windows Server administration, deployment, troubleshooting and environment
  • Experience managing, supporting and migrating to Microsoft 365 and Azure environment’s
  • Experience with networking solutions such as Meraki, SonicWall and Unifi networking equipment is preferred
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line interface
  • Experience with ticketing systems for issue tracking
  • Ability to provide support for both Windows and Mac OS environments

Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong leadership abilities. Possibility of becoming department manager
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Pay: $62,523.00 - $87,807.00 per year
