About the Role
As an Electro-Mechanical Quality Auditor, you're entrusted with the crucial mission of inspecting and validating the quality of printed circuit boards and sub-assemblies. Imagine your day unfolding where you:
Inspect circuit boards using gauges, micrometers, and pin gauges for precision. Identify potential defects in circuits, adhering to IPC-610 Class 3 standards. Operate and master AOI Inspection tools, broadening your technical expertise. Confirm alignment of components with BOM and Visual Aids. Inspect assembly and soldering work following IPC Specifications. Ensure engineering documents align with physical outputs. Record outcomes of product acceptance or rejection. Update and verify current engineering changes and operational completions. Maintain integrity and precision in personal work standards. Ensure machines accurately place components in their designated positions. Contribute to a clean and orderly workspace.Commitment & Interaction
You'll operate with autonomy, recommend improvements, and ensure top-notch quality, striving for client satisfaction. As your decisions have direct quality impacts, collaboration with stakeholders across the organization is key.
Skills & Proficiency
- Command over IPC 610 Standards related to electro/mechanical fields.
- Ability to produce detailed reports and navigate complex technical documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Preferred certification: IPC-610.
- Innovative thinking within established frameworks, with room for independent judgment.
Education & Professional Journey
We welcome applicants with an Associate degree or equivalent experience, alongside more than 2 years working with IPC-610 standards. Mastery in Quality Inspection, IPC-A-610, ISO 13485, and AS9100 is essential here.
