What You'll Do:
- Take charge of the daily test support landscape, tackling production test failures head-on.
- Spearhead the integration of new test platforms into our dynamic manufacturing processes.
- Innovate and refine testing methodologies for parts, assemblies, and complete products.
- Standardize our test equipment, ensuring consistency and reliability.
- Drive cost assessments and labor management, aiding in cost-cutting initiatives.
- Design and implement diverse testing procedures with precision.
- Stay ahead of the curve through ongoing training and maintaining tech proficiency.
- Create a safe, effective work environment where quality thrives.
- Uphold accuracy and quality as the benchmarks of your work.
Accountability & Scope:
- Engage with company management, manufacturing leaders, contractors, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
- Offer project leadership, ensuring team cohesion and exceptional results.
- Independently or collaboratively, make incisive technical recommendations and decisions.
Expectations:
- Be well-versed with testing equipment and their applications.
- Possess a solid foundation in manufacturing test tech, Microsoft Office suite, and complex problem-solving.
- Hold IPC Certification.
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- An engineering degree (BSEE) or similar, enhanced by 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Be flexible, autonomous, and well-versed in electronic assembly.
- Proficiency in IPC-A-610, OEM and AS9100 standards, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Experience in manufacturing environments is a must.
