We are a service-based business looking for a new team member to join us as a full time Receptionist/ Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with and learning new software specific to customer needs, has experience interacting with customers in a professional manner and is able to roll with the punches while staying positive and friendly. Our diverse roster of clients includes small businesses, non-profits, law offices, healthcare practices and home services companies. We represent these clients as their front-line customer service function by handling their inbound calls and making selective outbound or return calls and emails. We also assist our in-office clients who utilize our mail services, dedicated offices, and conference rooms. This is an in-office position.

Receptionists / Customer Service Representatives communicate with customers via phone and email to address questions, provide support, perform intake and schedule appointments. Additionally, you must be able to respond efficiently and effectively to inquiries and be able to manage multiple custom software platforms at once all while maintaining a friendly and empathetic demeanor. Strong computer skills are a plus.

The vast majority of your work time will be spent on the telephone handling inbound calls on behalf of multiple business clients. You will also make outbound calls on behalf of our clients.

Furthermore, you will be seated at the front desk with other receptionists and greeting customers and their desks who visit our office. You will be required to perform minor administrative duties on behalf of our clients, such a providing receipts, receiving packages, handling pick-ups, assisting visitors with check-in forms. As a front desk receptionist, you must be prepared to present a professional and positive image at all times.

Demonstrated experience in a call or contact center, office receptionist, or other type of phone-based customer service support position is required. Do not apply, if you are not willing to spend the vast majority of your time answering calls, handling customer service duties and working on a computer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing high volume of customer service via phones & email, and overall customized administrative support. Attention to detail a must!
  • Applicant must also have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to multitask, be computer efficient and can excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • ·Must be able to handle confidential information and compile with the professional confidentiality guidelines of our clients’ professions (HIPAA, legal, etc.)

Primary Work Hours are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday), additional hours may be required on occasion for staff meetings and other client needs (notice will be given). While we have the technology to work remotely, this is an in-office position the employee will primarily work from our office in Downtown Columbus.

Training will be provided. Software and some technology equipment will be provided to perform your work.

Pay: $16.00 - $29.00 per hour based on background and experience – Non-Exempt. Background and drug testing will be administered to any successful candidate as condition of employment.
