Dental Ceramist Porcelain Technician

Intelligent Touch Dental Lab is a family-owned dental laboratory in Woodbury, MN. We are growing and need another talented team player to join our team. We seek a permanent, dependable, High-Quality Dental Ceramist who wants to grow with a growing lab. We are also willing to train you if you have some experience, but we seek an accomplished ceramist. Pay depends on experience and quality/units.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Able to read prescriptions and specifications received from the dentist.
• Verify that the patient's prostheses and match the color of natural teeth.
• Create dental prostheses, crowns, bridges, and veneers.
• Create and perform work according to the dental prescription.
• Clean and polish dental prostheses.
• Work with Quality Control Issues.
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge of raw materials, function, and aesthetics.
• Knowledge of production processes.
• Knowledge of layering PFMs, Emax, & Zirconia.
• Experience working with Emax.
• Experience completing full contour Zirconia Crowns.
• Knowledge of design techniques and tools.
• The position requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing tasks.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a minimum of 12 months of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician

• Dental Ceramist: 6 years preferred
• Stain/ Glaze/ experience
• Custom Shade Experience is a
• Able to build PFM crowns

Pay for this position will depend on your experience and the quality of your work.
