About The Role:
Intelliguard has an excellent opportunity for a VP, Information Systems to join our team in Columbus, OH reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. As a VP of Information Systems, you will be responsible for driving our technology strategy and ensuring operational excellence. You will develop the IT strategy, manage existing infrastructure and lead our technology team. What You'll Be Doing:
- Developing and implementing the company’s IT strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Leading digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience and business growth.
- Overseeing the management of IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity and data management.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that drive business value.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in IT governance and security.
- Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department and across the organization.
- Managing IT budgets, resources and vendor relationships to regulate technology investments and performance.
- Define and execute the company’s IT roadmap, including system upgrades, integrations and new technology implementations.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures and standards to ensure data security, system reliability and work efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the IT team, providing guidance, support and professional development opportunities.
- Evaluate and select technology solutions and vendors that meet the company’s needs as well as its budget constraints.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of IT systems and infrastructure to support business operations.
- Manage cybersecurity initiatives to protect the company’s data, systems and networks from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and analyze technology trends, advancements and best practices to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement disaster recovery plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
We Would Love To Hear From You, If:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience as a VP of Information Systems, IT Director or similar leadership role with 10-15 years in IT management.
- Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and driving technology innovation in a multi-location environment.
- Experience with cloud computing, data analytics, SaaS solutions and other emerging technologies like blockchain, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI).
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, data management and data protection practices.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Relevant certification in IT management, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Technology Manager (CITM).
- Master’s degree in IT Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and practices.
- Working knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for technology in healthcare.
- Experience in project management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
