About The Role:

Intelliguard has an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Columbus, Ohio reporting to the Manager of Client Services. This individual plays a critical role in supporting the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our healthcare technology solutions used in hospitals and pharmacies. This role involves providing expert technical support through phone, email, and virtual meetings, ensuring users can efficiently integrate and operate the technology within their workflows. The specialist ensures that our solutions drive operational efficiency, enhance patient care, and meet the needs of healthcare providers.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Client Support and Training:
  • Provide technical support to hospital and pharmacy staff via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Assist users with onboarding, installation, and configuration of the technology.
  • Educate users on best practices to optimize their use of the technology and address common challenges.
  • Respond to client inquiries promptly and provide thorough follow-up to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and integrations with other systems.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level support or engineering teams while maintaining communication with the client.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and user feedback in the support system.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
  • Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams, providing valuable feedback to improve product performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with product development, QA, and implementation teams to address user-reported issues and optimize system performance.
  • Participate in team discussions on feature improvements, updates, and client-specific needs.
  • Technical Knowledge and Compliance:
  • Stay updated on the technical aspects of the product, including software updates, hardware specifications, and system compatibility.
  • Ensure clients comply with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) when using the technology.
  • Provide guidance on security best practices and maintain a thorough understanding of relevant regulatory standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, technical issues, and solutions in the support system.
  • Contribute to the creation of user guides, FAQs, troubleshooting resources, and training materials.
  • Generate reports on trends in technical issues and user feedback to help shape product improvements.

We Would Love To Hear From You, If:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or 1-2 years of equivalent experience).
  • Understanding of IT systems, including software applications, networks, and hardware components.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting tools, remote desktop software, and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical users.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client issues simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology systems (e.g., EHR, pharmacy management software, automated dispensing systems) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and data transfer protocols is a plus.
  • Professional Certification: A Certification, Network , or similar IT certifications preferred but not required.

Other Information:

  • Hybrid Role in Columbus, OH(4 days in office, 1 day remote)
  • The essential functions of the job are usually performed in an office setting, in an indoor, temperature-controlled environment. The office environment noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods, standing and walking intermittently, reach with hands, arms, talk or hear. The employee is required to use office equipment such as a computer, mouse, keyboard, printer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.40 - $25.80 per hour
