About The Role:
Intelliguard has an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician Clinical Support Specialist to join our team in Columbus, Ohio reporting to the Manager of Client Services. This individual is a vital link between healthcare providers, hospital/pharmacy staff, and our cutting-edge healthcare technology. This position focuses on supporting the deployment, utilization, and troubleshooting of our technology to ensure optimal performance in hospital and pharmacy settings. The specialist plays a critical role in enhancing patient care, streamlining workflows, and providing expert clinical support to users of our systems.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Client Support and Training:
- Provide clinical and technical support to hospital and pharmacy staff using our technology.
- Deliver virtual training sessions to ensure effective use of the technology by clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Collaborate with end-users to address workflow integration challenges and optimize the use of our solutions.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
- Identify and resolve user issues, escalating complex technical problems to the appropriate internal teams.
- Serve as a point of contact for real-time troubleshooting, guiding users through technical and clinical challenges.
- Document support interactions and resolutions to contribute to the knowledge base.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with software developers, product teams, and account managers to provide user feedback and improve technology performance.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss product updates and clinical implications.
- Support implementation teams during system rollouts and upgrades by remotely assisting clients.
- Clinical Expertise and Compliance:
- Apply clinical knowledge to ensure the technology aligns with hospital and pharmacy workflows.
- Assist clients in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Joint Commission standards).
- Provide input on product features and improvements from a clinical perspective.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, technical issues, and solutions in support databases.
- Generate reports on user activity, common issues, and feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of user guides, FAQs, and other training resources.
We Would Love To Hear From You, If:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or 2-3 years of equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with hospital or pharmacy workflows, including medication management, inventory systems, or patient safety protocols.
- Experience with healthcare technology systems (e.g., EHR, automated dispensing systems, or pharmacy management software).
- Proficiency in virtual communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to multitask in a remote environment and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Professional Certification: Active RN, CMA, or Pharmacy Technician certification preferred but not required.

- Hybrid Role in Columbus, OH(4 days in office, 1 day remote)
- The essential functions of the job are usually performed in an office setting, in an indoor, temperature-controlled environment. The office environment noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods, standing and walking intermittently, reach with hands, arms, talk or hear. The employee is required to use office equipment such as a computer, mouse, keyboard, printer.
