Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Leadership and Execution:
- Lead and manage large-scale engineering projects, including the design, installation, and commissioning of production lines and equipment for the new factory setup.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, from concept through execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, construction, and operations) to ensure seamless project delivery.
2. Design and Development Oversight:
- Oversee the engineering design of production lines, facilities, and associated infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company requirements.
- Work with external engineering firms and contractors to review designs, ensure quality, and troubleshoot any issues during the implementation phase.
3. Risk Management and Problem Solving:
- Identify project risks and potential roadblocks, implementing mitigation plans to
avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Solve engineering and technical challenges during project phases, ensuring continuous progress and high-quality standards.
4. Vendor and Supplier Coordination:
- Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure
timely delivery of equipment and materials.
- Oversee procurement processes, evaluating and selecting vendors, and negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms.
5. Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure resource
allocation aligns with project requirements.
- Track and report on project milestones and ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.
6. Team Management and Development:
- Lead a team of engineers and technical staff, providing mentorship and fostering a
collaborative environment.
- Ensure continuous skill development of team members and create an environment of accountability and high performance.
7. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all engineering projects comply with local regulations, industry
standards, and internal quality control systems.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Post-Project Support and Continuous Improvement:
- Oversee the handover process post-project completion, ensuring the successful
integration of new equipment and production lines into operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for production processes, focusing on efficiency, safety, and quality.
Qualifications: Experience:
- 10 years of experience in engineering project management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within manufacturing, ideally in the food and beverage industry.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale engineering projects, from planning through implementation.
- LeadershipSkills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-
functional teams and foster a collaborative environment. TechnicalExpertise:
- Expertise in engineering design, project planning, production line installation, and facility setup.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, project management methodologies, and engineering best practices.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields). A Master’s degree or professional certifications in project management is a plus.
- CommunicationSkills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to effectively
present technical information to non-technical stakeholders. LanguageSkills:
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus, given the company’s headquarters and potential interactions with international teams.
