Responsibilities:
- Maintain building functionality, including power, HVAC, cold storage, RODI water, air compressors, and vacuum pumps.
- Conduct daily system checks and ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Building Management System (BMS) issues.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment/utilities problems, documenting findings.
- Provide updates in weekly team meetings and project planning sessions.
- Manage service tickets and coordinate with internal teams on complex issues.
- Collaborate across departments (EH&S, QA, Lab Operations) for compliance and efficiency.
- Assist with lab equipment setup and support safety initiatives.
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree required.
- 4-7 years of Engineering/Facilities experience.
- Mechanical or electrical engineering background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building utilities, HVAC, and BMS systems.
- Prior experience in pharma/lab environments.
- Proficient in MS Office; CMMS, CAD, and design software experience a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
