Job Description:
The client is looking for a pure Java Backend Developer with very strong experience in,:
- Java (Core Java, Java 8/11/17)
- WebSphere (Traditional or Liberty)
- Kafka (Message Streaming, Event-Driven Architecture)
- MicroServices (REST APIs, Service Discovery, Circuit Breakers, etc.)
- Spring Boot (Dependency Injection, Security, Caching, etc.)
Project Details:
LOB: Consumer Underwriting
Applications: ICDP - Integrated Credit Decision Platform
UDP - Universal Decision Platform
UBVP - Universal Bureau and Vendor Platform
manages UDP and UBVP. These are platforms where BAC provides data to Bureaus and vendors to make underwriting decisions for PAR, Consumer Loans, consumer lending, vehicle, home equity and fee waivers. Also for application for loans, leases for approvals
Tech stack: Java/J2EE, Oracle backend, Websphere however, migrating to Kafka, Microservices, Spring Boot. Exploring containerization
