Job Description:
Title: Power Platform Journeyman
Type: Contract (6 months to start, with potential for extension or conversion)
Location Preference: Oklahoma City (preferred) or Texas (secondary)
Remote Work: Hybrid Oklahoma City candidates preferred for in-office collaboration. Remote within Texas is acceptable.
Conversion Potential: Strong potential for full-time conversion based on performance.
Reason for Hire: Increased demand and workload requiring additional development capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new Power Apps solutions (primarily Canvas apps).
Utilize Power Automate for workflow automation (~20-25% of the workload).
Work with SQL databases (on-prem through a gateway, with future potential for cloud-based data).
Integrate with various systems, including Broadcom Atomic and Informatica for data integrations.
Work with APIs, scripting (PowerShell, C# preferred) for automation and backend development.
Contribute to existing app development patterns and frameworks expected to follow established best practices rather than overhaul processes.
Some involvement with data handling (uploading/managing files, databases, APIs) but Power BI is not a core requirement (though beneficial).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience Level: Journeyman (not junior, must be able to ramp up quickly).
Technical Skills:
o Power Apps (Canvas apps) Required
o Power Automate Required (but secondary to Power Apps)
o SQL Server Strong competency required
o API integration Experience required
o Scripting (PowerShell, C#) Preferred
o Dataverse Not used (focus is on SQL)
o Power BI Nice to have but not a primary focus
