IntelliSurvey is excited to offer a unique opportunity for soon-to-be or recent graduates to join our innovative Project Management Team as a Project Management Trainee. This is a part-time, temp-to-hire position with the potential for long-term career growth. After the training period, this position will be full-time.
POSITION DETAILS:
- Type: Part-time, Temp-to-Hire
- Hours: 24 hours per week, Tuesday - Thursday (EST)
- Duration: 3-month Training Program ($14 to $16 per hour for training)
- Target start date: April 14, 2024
Responsibilities
The Trainee is responsible for learning Project Management. They will receive extensive training with a strong focus on IntelliSurvey’s proprietary programming language. Some training session will be given in a small class. Others will be self-guided, working on hands on example leveraging the software documentation.
- Attend training sessions (survey programming language, general company/ quant research knowledge)
- Work on exercises surveys (program example surveys, use documentation)
- Shadow a real project with manager
- Participate in mentoring and socializing activities.
- Complete 3 assessments.
Qualifications
Education
The Trainee position is open to current students graduating in the school year and recent graduates in their 3 years following university.
- BA/BS degree (can be in-progress)
- University major in a liberal arts field (humanities: literature, history, philosophy, art, languages; natural sciences: biology, geology, astronomy; social sciences: psychology, sociology, political science, anthropology, economics; etc.)
Soft skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skill
- Strong problem-solving skills (analytical and logical abilities)
- Desire to learn, ability to constructively work with feedback
- Display tenacity when facing new situations and/or challenging tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to details
Hard skills
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Desire to acquire advanced level in advanced computer operations and complex spreadsheet manipulation.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, Q, Tableau) would be a plus.
- An understanding of computer languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and /or Perl would be a plus.
