Job Title: Network Engineer III
Location: Onsite – Menlo Park, CA
A seasoned network engineer with 5 years of experience in managing and supporting IP/Optical Networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage long-term network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
Respond promptly to incidents and resolve issues efficiently.
Possess CCNA certifications and expertise in maintaining IP and optical networks.
Favorable Skills:
Experience with network addressing protocols can be beneficial.
A minimum of 5 years of experience working within network or infrastructure operations, deployment, design, engineering, and/or support teams.
External Vendor Partner Engagement:
Partnership experience with enterprise and service provider vendors is essential, including network hardware platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Infinera, Nokia, and Arista), ITAD vendors, logistics vendors, and colocation vendors.
Proficiency in at least one of the network domains: IP network, optical network, caching appliance infrastructure, CDN/Edge network, including topology, protocol, hardware, and architectures.
Collaboration:
Excellent collaboration skills across a global team and with cross-functional partners at all levels, including vendor service delivery managers, individual contributors, and people managers.
