ASIC Design Verification Specialist
Full time role.
Location : Sunnyvale, California or Austin, Texas
Note : No hybrid or remote options available.
Role Overview : Join our innovative team as an ASIC Design Verification Specialist, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our designs. You will have the opportunity to define and implement IP / SoC verification plans, and build test benches that facilitate the verification of IP, sub-system, and SoC levels.
Key Responsibilities :
Define and implement robust verification plans for IP / SoC components.
Construct verification test benches to streamline IP / sub-system / SoC verification processes.
Develop and execute functional tests guided by the verification test plan.
Closely work with the design team to debug, root-cause, and resolve functional failures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Model, Emulation, and Silicon validation to enhance design quality.
Champion continuous improvements in Design Verification using the latest industry methodologies, tools, and technologies.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of hands-on experience in SystemVerilog / UVM methodology and / or C / C based verification.
Proven track record of achieving 'first-pass success' in ASIC development cycles.
5 years of experience in IP / sub-system and / or SoC level verification using SystemVerilog UVM / OVM methodologies.
Proficiency in EDA tools and scripting languages (Python, TCL, Perl, Shell) to develop tools and verification flows.
Strong experience in architecting and implementing Design Verification infrastructure and executing comprehensive verification cycles.
Preferred Qualifications :
Expertise in developing UVM based verification environments from the ground up.
Experience in verifying GPU / CPU designs.
Knowledge of micro-architectural performance verification.
Experience in verifying Data-center applications such as Video, AI / ML, and Networking designs.
Familiarity with verification of ARM / RISC-V based sub-systems or SoCs.
Experience with high-speed interfaces including PCIe, RoCE, DDR, HBM, and Ethernet.
Familiarity with functional verification areas such as SV Assertions, Formal methods, and Emulation.
Ability to foster relationships across cross-functional design, model, and emulation teams.
Experience with version control systems like Mercurial (Hg), Git, or SVN.
