Part-Time Helper, Camera / Access Control Installation

We are seeking a Part-Time Helper, Camera / Access Control Installation to become a part of our team! You will assist with the installation and repair of various physical security systems and equipment.

• Part-Time, $14.50 / hr
• Benefits upon conversion to Full-Time: $16 / hr,  Medical, Dental, Employer Paid Life Insurance, Paid Time Off

Position Overview

Intellus Solutions is looking for a part-time Helper / Technician Trainee to join our culture. In this role, you will receive on the job training for tools, low-voltage and access control system installation to our rigorous standards in support of our Customers.

Essential Functions

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

• Installs, programs, test, repairs, and services a variety of systems and equipment which may include  IP cameras, servers, access control devices, low-voltage wiring, and/or building automation with guidance as needed.

• Works closely with colleagues in providing technical installation support. Refers more complex issues to more experienced colleagues.

• Interprets manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.

• Provides basic installation assistance as directed by project lead.

• Maintains accurate inventory of tools and parts

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Work Experience:

- 1 to 3 years of general work experience

- Hand tool familiarity

Requirements:

- Driver's License

- Background check 

Protective Clothing Required:

The position may require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use such as safety glasses, hard hat, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, or work boots, as required on job site.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear; uses hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. On occasion, the colleague may be required to climb and work in high places, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. Position may also require work in confined spaces and exposure to different types of outdoor weather conditions. Risk of electrical shock and/or general hazards found in a construction environment are present.

The colleague must frequently lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift, push or pull up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Required: Education Level - High School
