Job Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in post-acute care facilities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of residents.
- Monitor and report on residents' vital signs, observing their conditions and updating the nursing team as needed.
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, feeding, grooming, and other activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and dignity.
- Reposition residents and transport them around the facility safely and efficiently.
- Liaise between staff, residents, and family members to support ongoing communication and transparency.
Qualifications and Skills
- Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing care procedures and clinical terminology.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, ensuring the safety and mobility of residents.
