Responsibilities and Requirements
This role entails:
- Delivering high-quality nursing care in post-acute settings
- Following and adhering to resident care plans
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting to the nursing team
- Observing residents' conditions and alerting supervisors to concerns
- Assisting residents with ADLs, including toileting, grooming, and feeding
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff
- Staying engaged with residents and providing daily support
- Addressing family members' concerns and communicating effectively
- Moving residents safely and efficiently
To be successful, you'll need:
- New Hampshire LNA certification
- Nursing care knowledge and medical terminology
- Strong organizational skills and effective communication
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Attention to detail and quality care
