Job Responsibilities
- Supporting residents in post-acute facilities as an LPN
- Maintaining residents' mental and physical well-being through regular monitoring and vital sign checks
- Ensuring accurate documentation of medical histories and health issues
- Verifying medication administration and monitoring resident effects
- Maintaining residents' medical records and charts
- Providing immunizations, IVs, and blood draws as needed
- Creating a safe and comfortable environment for residents
- Adhering to care plans and regulations while maintaining accountability
- Maintaining inventory and supplies, including medical equipment
- Contributing to new hire orientation and training
Qualifications and Skills
- Current Massachusetts state license to practice as a LPN
- Completion of approved LPN educational program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months experience as a LPN or similar role
- Able to lift 50 lbs
