Job Responsibilities
- Providing excellent nursing care to post-acute residents
- Supporting residents with basic activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Protecting resident health and safety by supporting a clean environment
- Assisting with the transportation and movement of residents
- Documenting and reporting resident vital signs
- Being accountable to follow care plans and policies
- Engaging with residents to build relationships based on trust
Qualifications and Skills
- Current Connecticut Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing care procedures
- Detail-oriented and able to effectively communicate
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
