Intensive Specialty Hospital is a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital. We provide cardiopulmonary care, ventilator and respiratory care, complex wound care, rehabilitation therapies, addiction medicine program, geriatric psychiatry program, multidisciplinary pain program, and outpatient counseling program. With two locations, Shreveport Campus, and Bossier City Campus, we are the largest provider of LTAC services in Northwest Louisiana.

The General Maintenance Technician position performs a variety of routine to skilled general preventative maintenance duties in the repair, alteration, and modification of buildings and equipment. These duties include painting, drywall installation, drywall finishing, flooring installation, roof repairs, electrical repairs, and plumbing repairs which ensure a safe, clean and attractive environment for patients, staff, visitors, and medical staff at all times. He/she demonstrates responsibility in the routine maintenance and caring for hospital facilities.
Starting pay dependent on experience.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Previous experience in construction and a working knowledge of mechanical equipment.
Must be to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communication skills.
