Intensive Specialty Hospital is a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital. We provide cardiopulmonary care, ventilator and respiratory care, complex wound care, rehabilitation therapies, addiction medicine program, geriatric psychiatry program, multidisciplinary pain program, and outpatient counseling program. With four locations in Shreveport and Bossier City, we will be the largest provider of LTAC services in Northwest Louisiana.

Under general direction the House Supervisor Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the patient care activities on his/her designated shift. He/She consults with staff, physicians, Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager and Chief Clinical Officer on nursing procedures and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. The House Supervisor Registered Nurse (RN) must be able to manage the department and the provision of nursing service according to the Standards of Nursing Practice consistent with facility philosophy of care and state and federal laws and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS for House Supervisor Registered Nurse (RN):
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- House Supervisor Registered Nurse (RN) must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing
- Two years long term acute care and acute care experience is preferred
- Critical care experience preferred
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to work PM shift, Bossier location
