Position: Clinical Case Manager
Status: Full-time, exempt

Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 annually (commensurate with credentials and experience)

Intent Clinical offers a continuum of services to guide individuals and families through the behavioral health industry by providing concierge-level care, identifying suitable treatment and aftercare options, and assisting in creating and implementing sustainable recovery plans. We help address the needs of those struggling with behavioral health issues, including substance use disorders, mental health issues, eating disorders, and mood and personality disorders. We also support individuals on the autism spectrum, aging adults with dementia, and young adults who are struggling with transitions to independence.

You are professional, dependable, and able to tailor your therapeutic approach according to each client’s specific needs. You have experience in the mental health and behavioral health industry, outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills, and a strong understanding of the family systems and addressing complex family dynamics. You are dedicated to the client’s well-being, understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion, and are adept at managing crises while remaining calm and focused. You are comfortable with a flexible work schedule and being assigned cases on an as-needed basis. The ideal case management/recovery coach candidate is adept at working independently while also thriving with supervision and guidance.

What you’ll do:
Direct Care/Client Services
- Report to the Director of Case Management
- Maintain average weekly utilization of at least 60% providing billable services to clients. This may include:
- Provision of coaching, consulting, and other client services
- Coordinating and helping to complete a comprehensive consultation addressing the client’s educational, vocational, recreational, and social needs.
- Clinical: defining what clinical services will be accessed and how frequently. Facilitating efficient communication between treatment team, client, and family coach.
- Educational: assistance in selecting a school program. Supporting a client’s school plan, including class selection, connections, and school-based resources (i.e. tutoring and counseling).
- Vocational plan: assessment of vocational interests, short-term support for finding and keeping a job and long-term planning towards career goals.
- Recreational plan: discovery of clients’ interests in cultural, sports-related, and artistic pursuits. Connections to appropriate resources.
- Social: developing skills to pursue healthy behaviors and assistance in cultivating a positive support network.
- Independent living skills: creation and monitoring of a budget, assistance with time management and other basic living skills as needed.
- Creating short and long-term client goal plans; daily documenting of progress.
- Meeting with client 1-5 times per week in the community or home settings to client progress, with follow up calls as appropriate.
- Providing observed in-home drug testing and Sober Link monitoring if appropriate.
- Maintain up-to-date and organized records and reports in Ritten and TimeSolv.
- Other duties assigned
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- Ability to calmly, flexibly, and efficiently manage client crises as they arise
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
- Comfort and quick learning curve with technology on day-to-day tasks (i.e. Microsoft Office, Ritten, etc.)
- Availability for occasional weekend and evening work, and multiday overnight travel with reasonable advanced notice
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills
You Ideally Have
- Master’s degree or higher preferred; in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
- Active clinical licensure or working toward one
- An understanding of social responsibility and how to contribute positively to the well-being of others
- Experience working as a mental health clinician or case manager with experience working with clients with complex mental health diagnosis, substance use disorders, eating disorders, and autism spectrum disorders
- Experience working with high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families
