Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on equipment, machinery, and buildings to ensure the facility operates safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, as well as the ability to analyze issues and troubleshoot problems using specialized tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on equipment, machinery, and buildings to ensure the facility operates safely and efficiently.
- Conduct maintenance checks on systems, hydraulics, and electrical equipment to identify potential issues.
- Use a volt meter to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform electrical repairs as necessary.
- Analyze problems and develop solutions using a combination of technical knowledge and experience.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts used and repairs made.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure effective and efficient maintenance operations.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment, working effectively in a team-oriented setting.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems
- Experience with industrial electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Knowledge of manufacturing facilities and the equipment used within them.
- Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions using technical knowledge and experience.
- Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems.
- Experience with industrial electrician tasks and equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
