JOB POSTING
TITLE: Lab Technician C
POSITION OBJECTIVE: To provide testing support for raw material, semi-finished, and finished goods utilizing procedures while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work enviroment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Good oral /written communication skills
Basic computing skills
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow all directives of Quality Control Supervisor and Quality Control Manager
Strive to achieve departmental and quality objectives
Learn customer requirements, laboratory instruments (function, calibration, troubleshooting), testing criteria
Quality inspections of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods according to procedure
Quality control data entry
Assist in trial testing as needed
Follow instructions and exhibit “team player” attitude
Comply with company recycling policy
Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
Inside environmental conditions protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditions.
Outside environmental conditions, no effective protection from weather.
Inside and outside environments apply.
Subject to extreme cold; temperatures below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
Subject to extreme heat; temperatures above 100 degrees for more than one hour.
Subject to noise, causing reason to shout in order to be heard above the noise level.
Subject to vibration, exposure, fluctuating movement of the body.
Subject to hazards such as moving machinery, electrical currents, falling debris, exposure to chemicals, gases, high heat or explosives.
